Methven UK Ltd FY25 Carbon Neutrality Summary
Methven achieved carbon neutrality for its FY25 Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions in accordance with ISO 14068-1:2023. The reporting period covered 1 July 2024 to 30 June 2025.
Total Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions were 77.05 tCO₂e comprising:
Scope 1: 58.72 tCO₂e
Scope 2: 18.33 tCO₂e
Residual emissions were neutralised through the retirement of 78 verified carbon credits from the Katingan Peatland Restoration and Conservation Project (Indonesia) under the Verified Carbon Standard (Verra).
This claim applies to Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions only and does not extend to Scope 3 emissions. Carbon credits have been retired through the Verra registry to prevent double claiming.
No material changes were made to the organisational boundary during the reporting period. The carbon neutrality claim is a self-declaration prepared by MyCarbon and has not been independently verified under ISO 14064-3.
Methven will continue annual greenhouse gas reporting and emissions reduction initiatives to support the ongoing reduction of its environmental impact.
